I have such lovely feedback! I will respond to it all soon, but I wanted to get a bunch of thoughts out right now while they're still fresh.

There was a series finale on tonight and such, and I figured I'd spill a bunch of thoughts.

( spoilers and reflections on a time long past (or a few years ago, whatever) )

So I dug my digital camera out of its hiding place for the first time in about a year, because I need to take pictures for my computational photography class. It's kind of ancient (from 2003!) so I bought a new one, which is yay, though it is not here yet.

ANYWAY, the point of this is that I found this old pre-Homesickness comic-ish thing on my camera. Well, it has text and pictures, though saying there's any plot might be stretching it a bit.

Still, it amused me when I reread it, so I uploaded it to share with all of you.

House/McKay is OTP, bitches.

Okay, I don't think they'd like each other at first. In fact, they'd kind of hate each other. House is a medical doctor. Rodney is an incredibly annoying physicist. ~~Together, they fight crime!~~ There is no way their first meeting could go well. Especially when they start trying to one up each other on how smart they are, and Rodney starts insulting medicine by calling it a soft science and House starts insulting Rodney's mother because Rodney's third shoelace is loose or something.

But I think once they got over that point (though, knowing them, it would be a while), House would find Rodney's complete and utter lack of tact charming, and Rodney would admire House's ability to destroy the egos of the idiotic. Plus, Rodney would make House a really badass cane and House could translate some of Zelenka's more colorful phrases for Rodney to understand. The world would tremble in fear.

Of course, Wilson and John would be off to the side, sulking about how they're prettier. And quite possibly making out because it would be hot.

Also, I'm kind of in love with all of the people in

betteronvicodin who are way awesome. I am totally psyched about this fest.

I am also not working on really awkward genderfuck!Foreman/Chase. Not at all. And Foreman's not really being kind of a dick about being a girl, because holy fuck, he's only been a girl for a day, and he still isn't used to walking around with breasts. And if they totally don't want to have the theoretical sex, I'm not going to be sad about that at all.

So, I kind of, um, have a Rodney icon. shutupshutupshutup

Also, you know how John/flying is totally OTP? Rodney/physics is also my OTP.Because seriously, his nerdiness is so cute.

Anyway, yeah. Mary McDonnell is really kick ass, because she makes jokes about throwing Cylons out airlocks, admits that the writers of the show have a hard time writing certain issues because they're young and male, smiles and laughs a lot, and looks exactly like Laura Roslin in RL, which shouldn't be as odd as it is. But yes, she was cool and awesome and stuff.

So, I've been having a hard time writing at the moment, because most of my typing is reserved for code, and while I've been swamped with ideas, I'm too lazy to follow through.

Let's not talk about how not started with

Got a shiny New Year's Resolutions fic! At Close of Day, which is about The Professor from The Bourne Identity, and it is full of awesomeness.

And now for something completely different:
I also got around to seeing "Merry Little Christmas." I must say that I came out of that episode wanting to punch everyone in the face. With maybe the exception of Foreman, who was kind of awesome, and Chase, who didn't do anything and has already been punched in the face fairly recently. Still pissed at everyone else, though.

I think my previous musings on the Tritter arc seem to be a little off, in light of some of the spoilers I've read and such. (I don't really avoid them. I'm just too lazy to seek them out.)

Three finals down. One to go. Still sick, except now that I've lost my voice, people actually notice. Still also addicted to Zelda. Mostly done with my

On a somewhat different note, if you saw a fic with the summary "Character X gets into an argument with an evil lizard god" (where Character X is in a fandom not really know for it's supernatural elements), wouldn't you read it? Wouldn't you expect that since the writer is on enough crack to come up with that situation in the first place, they could totally write an awesomely Pythonesque argument between with all sort of side tracked discussions about irrelevant topics and plays on the absurdity of the situation? Wouldn't you look at it and feel hope?

Okay, I admit that was a little naive of me. I shall now go hang my head in shame.

So I made this mix, because Wilson is made of awesome, and it's kind of emo, but whatever. This is who Wilson is to me.

I totally stole this idea from

So yeah, I'm home now. (w00t!) The parental units and I swung around to Boston for Dim Sum before heading home. That was somewhat obnoxious because we ran into ridiculous traffic, but other than that, it was quite nice.
