10 in 10: More Merlin Post-Apocalyptic AU

Huzzah! I have come to the end. I think I am going to hit the brakes and, take stock of where I want to go next, whether it's writing more of this AU or not.

This has been a really great experience overall. It's challenge to keep up with it and to keep yourself moving forwards, but I think it's really rewarding to push yourself forward and give yourself some leeway to be bad at it. I definitely want to try it again and pick another ten days and then write separate stories each day instead of three stories chopped up weirdly into ten days.

Anyway, onto the fic!

I got exactly one prompt for House and space ninjas. Naturally, it takes place in the same universe as The Old Path. I wrote this while playing Mark of the Ninja, so it's totes accurate.

I will probably cross-post this to AO3 once I come up with a title. I'm not sure whether or not there's going to be more of this, but this also clearly only the beginning of some larger, more complicated story. :/

Chapter 7

It is done! I think I'm going to go collapse for a bit afterwards, but yeah. This was kind of an exhilarating challenge, and I'm kind of glad I did it. I am still kind of ambivalent about the story itself. It's kind of scattershot and messy from the pace at which I was pushing myself, but I think overall, it's the story it was always going to be, minus some polish.

I'm still planning on finishing off the challenge! Three more ficlets to write! I have at least two ideas that I want to play around with. And hey, if more ideas come up, maybe I'll make it 15 in 15 or 14 in 14.

So, I'm trying to do 10 in 10, which means I'm going to try to post 10 fics in 10 days.

I'm cheating by cutting up my sedoretu fic and posting bits of it every day. I am hoping that this will mean that I will actually finish it and not spend all day collecting cubes (Fez is super distracting!).

Also, please leave me prompts for other things I can work on!

So I'm planning on doing 10 in 10 because at least it'll force me to get some fic out the door instead of me staring at it and moping and then deciding to either (a) read that 150k word badfic on ff.net or (b) play some more video games.

Anyway, while I do have some WIPs lined up for this, that's not going to cover ten days. Anyone got some prompts? No restrictions on fandom/pairing for now, but no guarantees about me finishing any of them.

I'm planning on starting this on Friday! (If the Humble Indie Bundle 9 doesn't completely distract me until then.)
