Rating: Explicit
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: Blaine Anderson/Eduardo Saverin

Summary:

Eduardo starts the night in a diner and ends the night at a karaoke bar and maybe falls a little bit in love along the way.

So I actually finished [community profile] trope_bingo a few days early. Only took a week! And I was sick for pretty all of it, too. Go me.

Now I just have to go back to revising some more of my giant fic project of doom.

The final haul:

Fic: The One Where Mark Is A Barista (The Social Network, Mark/Eduardo, au: other)
summary/preview: Eduardo has a crush on the barista at his favorite coffee place. Too bad about the evil robots that are trying to kill him at the same time.
content notes: no archive warnings apply

Fic: White Teeth Teens (Glee, Kurt/Blaine, meeting the parents/family)
summary/preview: So this is Blaine. Kurt talks about him without realizing it, offhand comments about the time Blaine's parents almost lost him in the Macy's on 34th Street when he was ten or about how Blaine thinks that pianos might be the most perfect instrument ever invented or that trip Blaine took last Friday evening to the mall with the rest of the Warblers while Kurt was busy working at the shop.
content notes: no archive warnings apply

Fic: Laugh Until Our Ribs Get Tough (Glee, Kurt/Blaine, role reversal)
summary/preview: Really, he should have let someone else -- maybe Thad or Trent -- do the spying on New Directions. In general, it's a terrible idea to go along with any of Sebastian's suggestions, even if the other Warblers tend to disagree.
content notes: no archive warnings apply

Fic: We Crave a Different Kind of Buzz (Glee, Kurt/Blaine, huddle for warmth)
summary/preview: The heat cuts out at Dalton right before Blaine's math class.
content notes: no archive warnings apply

Fic: Reeling through the Midnight Streets (Glee, Kurt/Blaine, road trip)
summary/preview: That's been happening a lot on this trip. Close your eyes in Indiana, open them again in Illinois. Fall asleep in one seedy, cheap motel and wake up in another one. The days bleed into one another, not quite distinct entities so much as this long, never ending string of events. Eat, drive, visit a local attraction, stop in a nearby city to see their parks and monuments, hunt for the next public restroom or the next place where they can rest their heads.

I was bored and figured that I would randomly post a bunch of stuff that's been left unfinished on my hard drive (or Google Drive, whatever). Some of it is finished fic that just didn't feel good enough or substantial enough to post properly. So it ended up here.

Title: pieces form the whole
Fandom: The Social Network
Pairing: Mark/Eduardo
Rating: PG
Word count: ~2,600
Summary: His Dark Materials AU/fusion-ish thing. Mark is an obsessive workaholic, which suits Eduardo just fine. It makes Eduardo feel like he needs to keep up with him, work harder because Mark won't try to distract him. Alochka keeps herself busy while Mark is working, too, spinning webs on the edge of Mark's desk, in the corners of Mark's window.
Notes: I was brainstorming what sorts of daemons I thought Mark and Eduardo would have, and this is a small character sketch based on that universe. Many thanks to [personal profile] merisunshine36 for the beta and sounding board and to [personal profile] ninhursag for the extra brainstorming assist.

So, you know how I said that there was at least one more Mafia AU project in the works? Well, now it's finished! Yay.

Boston Map Adventure
(click me to open!)

It was really amazing amounts of fun putting this map together. [personal profile] merisunshine36, [personal profile] ninhursag and I ran around Boston taking pictures for this map yesterday, which was a total blast. If you're just here for the fic, we're going to be formatting the ficlets and reposting them to AO3. ETA: It now exists on AO3.

Enjoy! (And if you want to talk to me about the technical details, I love talking technical details.)

Title: Hope You Guess My Name
Fandom: The Social Network
Pairing: Mark/Eduardo
Rating: R
Word count: 12,500
Warnings: graphic descriptions of violence
Summary: Mafia AU. In which Mark is busy and Eduardo has to make some decisions about his future. This city may never be the same again.
Notes: Overlaps with the second half of Gimme Shelter in the Sympathy For The Devil-verse, and it probably won't make sense without reading that one first. Lots of love to [personal profile] merisunshine36 for the beta and the co-writing and the constant, non-stop enabling.

Title: ABC (Easy as 123)
Fandom: The Social Network
Rating: PG-13
Word count: 5500
Summary: In early 2005, Wired writes an article called "The Asian Invasion" about the rise of Asian-American entrepreneurs and startups. Mark Zhao gets his own sidebar discussing the meteoric rise of Facebook and the success the site has been having on college campuses.
Notes: This is a very belated entry for the Racebending Revenge Challenge. Many thanks to [personal profile] merisunshine36 for the encouragement and beta.

Title: blood fever
Fandom: The Social Network
Pairing: Mark/Eudardo
Rating: NC-17
Word count: ~2300
Warning(s): Pon farr-related consent issues.
Summary: "I should have known that you'd be nobly suffering just so you can be self-righteous about it later," Mark says, shoving his way past Eduardo.
Notes: Written for a prompt the [livejournal.com profile] mark_eduardo prompt-fest. Is there shame involved in writing pon farr fic in this fandom? Yes. Do I care? Not enough to stop myself from writing it.

Title: Pleased To Meet You
Fandom: The Social Network
Pairing: Mark/Eduardo
Rating: NC-17
Word count: ~11,500
Summary: Eduardo works for a bank. Mark works for City Hall. They meet and fall in love. But really, that's just the beginning of the story.
Notes: Much love to [personal profile] merisunshine36 for being a horrible enabler, co-creator, and beta. A prequel in the Sympathy For The Devil-verse. Set a few years before Street Fighting Man.

Title: It's Just a Shot Away
Fandom: The Social Network
Pairing: Mark/Eduardo
Rating: NC-17
Word count: 1400
Summary: "You checked and double checked it yourself," Mark says. "It's unloaded. The magazine is empty. The safety is on. You really need to stop worrying about this."
Notes: This is just a gunplay PWP that takes place maybe a day after Rock and a Hard Place in the mafia AU, because really, that ending really demanded some gunplay porn.

Title: Gimme Shelter
Fandom: The Social Network
Pairing: background Mark/Eduardo
Rating: R
Word count: ~11,000
Summary: Mafia AU. After the murder of Judge Summers, an underground war breaks out over the city, and Boston PD Detective Divya Narendra is forced to re-evaluate exactly where his loyalties lie.
Notes: Takes place a few months after a Dustin snippet I already posted. Really, this is all [personal profile] merisunshine36's fault, which is why you should harass her until she finishes her own stories in this universe.

Title: Cryptography For Beginners
Fandom: The Social Network
Pairing: Mark/Eduardo
Rating: NC-17
Word count: ~14,000
Summary: A few years after the depositions, Mark sends Eduardo an e-mail. Now Eduardo just needs to figure out what it says.
Notes: Written for this kinkmeme prompt (which is somewhat spoilery for the story itself). This is a slightly expanded version of the fic I posted to the kinkmeme. [personal profile] zulu, as always, gets credit for the beta.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I wrote a high school AU for a college fandom.

Title: we've got the dreamers' disease
Fandom: The Social Network
Pairing: Mark/Eduardo (some minor Sean/Eduardo and Sean/Mark)
Rating: NC-17
Word count: ~15,500 words
Summary: AU. In which Mark and Eduardo are BFFs in high school, Mark has a gigantic, horrible, soul-eating crush on Eduardo, Eduardo has issues, and Sean comes in and blows everything up (not literally).
Notes: Written for this kinkmeme prompt. [personal profile] zulu gets credit for the beta and for not laughing me out of everything.

Title: Technical Debt
Fandom: The Social Network
Pairing: Mark/Eduardo
Rating: NC-17
Word count: ~9,200
Summary: Mark is trying, and he thinks Eduardo is trying, but their resentments go so deep it feels like their friendship can't go anywhere at all, like there's this huge architectural flaw in their code that they're trying to hack around when they should be trying to go back and rethink everything, like they need to tear it all down so that they can rebuild it all from scratch.
Notes: Much love to [personal profile] zulu for the beta.

OKAY, I am doing this and I am not going to freak out about doing this at all. I had a bit of a panicky moment when I originally posted this story, because I wasn't sure I wanted to. Not so much that I thought it was bad, as much as the fact that it's a story that feels a little too personal to me. I wasn't sure I wanted to put it out into the wider world. I'm not sure why I decided to overshare some more, except that I love geeking out about computers, and this story is pretty much about me geeking out about computers anyway.

So, welcome to the DVD commentary. I hope it is illuminating and interesting and all of that. I'll try to refer to Wikipedia as much as possible to keep this from getting too dry and technical. You can also read the original without all the extra annotation if that appeals to you more.

Title: SYN/ACK
Fandom: The Social Network
Pairing: Mark/Eduardo
Rating: PG-13
Word count: ~7000
Summary: There are differences between Eduardo and him that Mark doesn't think they'll ever really resolve, that they'll ever be able to overcome. A love story about packet loss.
Notes: I'm not sure I would have posted this if it weren't for [personal profile] zulu, who picked up beta duties on top of being encouraging.
