Everyone who knows me knows that I'm big on the open source software, but I could never really get into The GIMP, the OS equivalent of Photoshop. It was just something that I couldn't really use effectively.
But now, there's GIMPShop, which modifies The GIMP's interface to more closely resemble Photoshop's. It's worked pretty well for me, though there are a few bugs that's mostly the deweirdifyer plugin that's included with the Windows version. I don't think I'll be switching, but I think it's worth a look, at least.
