Wandering around the internet can sometimes bring you cool things. I'm sure some of you have already seen this, but I figured I'd spread it around to people who haven't.

Digital: a love story is a little more than an interactive story and it's a little less than a full-fledged computer game. It floats in between, and I really enjoyed it. There are parts of it that are frustrating, and there are parts of it that are clever, but overall, it was one of the cooler storytelling experiences I've had. (And it's free! And cross-platform!)

Basically, the plot takes place 1988-ish on dial-up modems and BBS, and there's a few characters, a few mysteries, a few puzzles. Some people have talked about how it's an accurate simulation of the early days of the internet and how new and strange and amazing it was to have this new form of communication. It's more than that, though. The story it tells isn't particularly deep, imo, but it does feel genuine and heartfelt, and that's feels almost rarer to me.

If any of this sounds remotely interesting to you, I suggest you take a look!
