I watched Twilight: Breaking Dawn (Part 2). It was kind of spectacularly awful. Nothing happens! For two hours! There are some vague attempts at building narrative tension, but they all suck and never go anywhere. I think it was quite an achievement to make an entire movie and have it be so entirely useless.

It was kind of also delightful watching it with other people where we mostly just talked over the entire movie and ate lots of delicious pastries.

MJ is next weekend! Whee!

Hee, that's how my family watches Twilight. Somehow it's become a yearly tradition. Talk over the movie and occasionally tune in to mock it or else say, "Wait, hasn't anything else happened yet?" Good times, good times.

We do the spectacularly cool thing of turning on the subtitles so that we can find out what they're saying without actually having to listen to it. I definitely recommend it if you're settling in for a good hate-watch. This way you don't have to miss one moment of awful dialogue!
