BSG this week:
- It's always kind of kick ass to see more of the Cylons, and this episode gave that to us in spades.
- I'm really, really curious about the other five models. What's their deal? Are they radically different from the ones we've seen?
- Also, I'm kind of curious about the disease. What's its origin? What about Cylons does it target?
- Man, I loved the Kara-Adama-Tigh confrontation scene. Dude, Adama is so hard core. And Tigh is so losing it.
- Yay! Hot!Lee is back.
- I am all kinds of hurty for Sharon and Helo. OMG THEY ARE SO GOING TO SUFFER LOTS.
- It was very odd to see the Chief and Cally back into their old roles. I mean, yeah, it was going to happen, but it was still odd to see things going back to the way they were for them.
- I demand more Roslin/Zarek UST awesomeness. There wasn't any in this episode, but I'm going to bet it will all work out in the end.
Also! I watched some Spooks (MI-5, whatever) and squeed for the two episodes Hugh Laurie was in. He's a jackass! He's very British! He's a British jackass who's snarky and amusing! His character's pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of things, but it made me very, very happy to see him. Especially when he gets to be a British spy version of House.
The show itself is also really good. It doesn't hurt that I have a total weakness for spies and political machinations and such, though I don't know how much of it I'll watch, as the website reveals that they're taking the "revolving door of main characters" approach to television, which is valid, but not something I'm really interested in.
