So this is like someone put TSN and Brick and Miller's Crossing in a cocktail shaker and then served it to me. And what a delicious cocktail it has turned out to be! I'm really digging this AU - I love Divya's perspective, here, but the whole universe feels believably peopled, like the characters have slotted in precisely where they belong. And the whole thing is hardboiled without being gimmicky, which is great and tricky.

Truly gritty stuff makes me really happy. This pushed all my buttons.
