I recently bought into the Storium beta because it seemed like an interesting interactive way to tell stories, like a more in-depth and controlled system for writing Round Robins or those old school LJ RPGs.

Anyone interested in taking a spin with it? I can invite people who aren't on Storium yet into the beta. I think this time around it'll be a small thing with only a few people/characters involved so that we can get a feel for how the system works.

So, to start me thinking about my character: is this a civilian (merchant?) ship sent by a certain company (or, hey, university, or church or whatnot) and crewed by scientists and (presumably) company security / mercenaries...? Or is it a military or other government vessel? And are there alien races?

Military ship, think Star Trek as much possible. There are alien races. :)

Hey there! :-) I've been wondering if it might be helpful to start a dw (or other) comm for the players and narrator of "Into the Unknown" to talk and plan...? Storium doesn't seem to offer a proper venue for discussion, other than the comment function.

I mention it because I've been feeling a little worried that my move scared everyone off, including you as the narrator. Might help to have a good place to talk things over.
