Linux Spam, you know you want it

So I got Mandrake to work on my desktop. Hooray! I also got some experience with the commandline and untarring .tar.gz files while installing Firebird onto it. 

All it really took was for me to not be lazy and partition the 2GB I have  so that I actually had room for the install. Yay! I still want a new hd though.
