Title: ex machina
Fandom: Glee
Pairing: Kurt/Blaine
Rating: PG-13
Word count: ~7000
Summary: AU. If this movie doesn't collapse in on itself before it's released, Blaine will be the first actor to have a holographic, artificially intelligent co-star for a movie. He doesn't expect that to make him much more than an interesting footnote in the history books, but he supposes that will be enough.
Notes: I was having a hard time with this one, but [personal profile] zulu helped dig me out a bit. So many thanks to her for the support and the beta.

I know you guys have been totes hotly anticipating this because of how much I've been talking about it. I have decided to declare it 'done'. I might end up writing up a rambling post about making it later, but I'm not sure.

Title: Ghost in the Shell
Fandom: X-Men Movieverse
Pairing: mostly gen, with some Charles/Erik
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Post-X3 interactive fiction. "Well, we've been going through some of the professor's things since he…" Hank says. He lets out a shuddery breath before composing himself. "Ms. Munroe and I have been busy with the personal effects, the physical ones anyway, but we could use a hand going through his computer files. You don't have to organize them or anything as complicated as that. We just want to know what's there so we can figure out what to do with them later."
Notes: Will not play nicely with mobile devices. I have not tested it in IE, and some functionality may not work with it. More detailed notes can be found at the end!

So I actually finished [community profile] trope_bingo a few days early. Only took a week! And I was sick for pretty all of it, too. Go me.

Now I just have to go back to revising some more of my giant fic project of doom.

The final haul:

Fic: The One Where Mark Is A Barista (The Social Network, Mark/Eduardo, au: other)
summary/preview: Eduardo has a crush on the barista at his favorite coffee place. Too bad about the evil robots that are trying to kill him at the same time.
content notes: no archive warnings apply

Fic: White Teeth Teens (Glee, Kurt/Blaine, meeting the parents/family)
summary/preview: So this is Blaine. Kurt talks about him without realizing it, offhand comments about the time Blaine's parents almost lost him in the Macy's on 34th Street when he was ten or about how Blaine thinks that pianos might be the most perfect instrument ever invented or that trip Blaine took last Friday evening to the mall with the rest of the Warblers while Kurt was busy working at the shop.
content notes: no archive warnings apply

Fic: Laugh Until Our Ribs Get Tough (Glee, Kurt/Blaine, role reversal)
summary/preview: Really, he should have let someone else -- maybe Thad or Trent -- do the spying on New Directions. In general, it's a terrible idea to go along with any of Sebastian's suggestions, even if the other Warblers tend to disagree.
content notes: no archive warnings apply

Fic: We Crave a Different Kind of Buzz (Glee, Kurt/Blaine, huddle for warmth)
summary/preview: The heat cuts out at Dalton right before Blaine's math class.
content notes: no archive warnings apply

Fic: Reeling through the Midnight Streets (Glee, Kurt/Blaine, road trip)
summary/preview: That's been happening a lot on this trip. Close your eyes in Indiana, open them again in Illinois. Fall asleep in one seedy, cheap motel and wake up in another one. The days bleed into one another, not quite distinct entities so much as this long, never ending string of events. Eat, drive, visit a local attraction, stop in a nearby city to see their parks and monuments, hunt for the next public restroom or the next place where they can rest their heads.

I wrote a thing for [livejournal.com profile] fandomaid.

In or Out (2411 words) by thedeadparrot
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Hunger Games Trilogy - Suzanne Collins
Rating: General Audiences
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Characters: Effie Trinket, Cinna (Hunger Games)
Additional Tags: Alternate Universe - Project Runway, Alternate Universe - Fashion & Models
Summary: "Only the most amazing idea for a television show!" Effie said. She smiled bright enough that Cinna got a good look at her perfectly shaped teeth. "I want to pluck the best and the brightest designers out there and give them an opportunity to shine. While competing against each other, of course. A little challenge will do them some good."

Title: And I'll Try Not To Sing Out Of Key
Fandom: Glee
Pairing: Kurt/Blaine
Rating: PG-13
Word count: ~6500
Summary: Fall blows in with Blaine on its heels. Sometimes domesticity isn't all it's cracked up to be, and sometimes it is.
Notes: So many thanks to [personal profile] zulu for the beta. Weather fic is still my favorite fic, and autumn is still my favorite season.

You may recognize this as the post-apocalyptic AU I was writing earlier. I added a second chapter and declared it done.

I also spent most of yesterday watching later Merlin episodes. Jeez, that finale was disappointing, and I love finales and people playing with the Arthur mythos.

Everything Old Is New Again (6342 words) by thedeadparrot
Chapters: 2/2
Fandom: Merlin (TV)
Rating: Teen And Up Audiences
Warnings: Author Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings
Characters: Arthur Pendragon (Merlin), Morgana (Merlin), Gwen (Merlin), Merlin (Merlin)
Additional Tags: Alternate Universe - Post-Apocalypse, Reincarnation
Summary:

Gaius has tales of the days before the plague. He'll sit the younger children down after dinner when everyone is sleepy and spin them tales of wars and political intrigue and some people called 'celebrities' that Arthur doesn't quite understand. Arthur likes the stories about television the best, just the thought of it, moving pictures on a screen, and the stories of a man with an ever-changing face and a blue box.

His father doesn't approve in the least. "I wish he wouldn't fill your head with that nonsense," his father would say. "That world is dead. This is the one we must live in."

Title: What You Want
Fandom: Glee
Pairing: Kurt/Blaine
Rating: NC-17
Word count: 1500
Summary: AU. For the longest time, wanting was uncomfortable, scary, something that set you apart, something that made you odd and wrong and different. It feels good now, to know that you can have what you want, to know that it will smile at you and laugh with you and kiss you and sing you silly songs on your birthday, that it will let you in and let you see it at its most fragile and its most vulnerable.
Notes: A short PWP sequel to A Far Better Thing. Takes place about one year after the events of the story. I wrote this as something of a challenge to myself to see what other sorts of stories I could write with Twine over the long weekend. (The answer was 'porn' in case it wasn't obvious.) It's still recommended that you read this in Firefox or Chrome.

OMG, IT IS DONE.

Title: A Far Better Thing
Fandom: Glee
Pairing: Kurt/Blaine
Rating: PG-13
Word count: ~25,000
Summary: AU. For as long as anyone can remember, the city has been split into two halves, Under and Over. Blaine Anderson works as a courier, delivering messages and helping people cross the border. It's a living. He makes do. And then one day, he gets a job that will turn everything upside down...
Notes: This was written with the Twine interactive fiction engine. It requires quite a bit of Javascript, so it's hosted on a separate site. It's highly recommended that you use the latest version of Firefox or Chrome to view this as it does use some more advanced CSS features. It will not work at all on IE8 or lower. I haven't yet tested it on IE9. So many thanks to zulu for the beta!

Title: What Have You Done Today (To Make You Feel Proud)?
Fandom: Glee
Pairing: Kurt/Blaine
Rating: PG-13
Word count: ~3500
Summary: It's their first New York Pride together, and it's going to be perfect.
Notes: I wanted to post this before the actual 2013 Pride March happened, because all of it is entirely made up.

Title: If I Needed Someone
Fandom: Glee
Pairing: Kurt/Blaine
Rating: NC-17
Word count: ~17,500
Summary: BDSM AU. Kurt may be as queer as a three dollar bill, but in New York he doesn't have to pretend to act like a proper sub on top of all of that. He can hold his head up high and make his own way through the big city without some dom holding his leash. He can be anything he wants.
Notes: Based on this kink meme prompt, though I have taken a few liberties with it. I've also borrowed bits and pieces of worldbuilding from helenish's Take Clothes Off As Directed and etothepii's things you don't tell me. So much love to [personal profile] zulu for the beta.

Self indulgent weather fic? From me? Surely you lie.

Title: Some Boys
Fandom: Glee
Pairing: Kurt/Blaine
Rating: PG-13
Word count: ~7000
Summary: Spring has always been Blaine's favorite season, when the first signs of green emerge from the patchy browns and grays of winter. Blaine goes to his NYADA audition in New York and stays with Kurt. They work through their feelings.
Notes: I started writing this about a month ago, way before all these new and exciting spoilers came out, so it does not take any of them into account. The song from the title (and in the story) is Some Boys by Death Cab for Cutie.

Title: Just Pretend
Fandom: Glee
Pairing: Kurt/Blaine
Rating: NC-17
Word count: ~2,500
Summary: "Your motivation is that you're a repressed frat boy," Kurt says, rolling his eyes, "and we're at a party. This isn't difficult."
Notes: Like everyone else, I was quite amused by the makeout scene in "I Do" and then I wrote fic about it. Takes place during S3.

Title: Past in Present
Fandom: White Collar/Glee
Pairing: Neal/Elizabeth/Peter, Kurt/Blaine
Rating: PG
Word count: ~7300
Summary: Cooper Anderson stopped going by that name a long time ago, but sometimes his baby brother still needs his help on the big things like, you know, picking out an engagement ring.
Notes: Yeah, let's just pretend that we have learned nothing about Neal's past on White Collar, and he has a blissfully blank slate where I can paste a completely different fandom in there. [personal profile] merisunshine36 made me do it. She also betaed it.
